Trump complains about covid-19 dominating the news. He claims the coverage is used against him.

A week away from the election and there are record numbers of early voting ballots. 68 million have been cast in one week. people want a reset.

Another black man was executed in Philadelphia. The man’s mother tried to stop police from shooting. The man was holding a knife going thru a psychotic, mental breakdown. His name is Walter Wallace Jr.

I don’t want to hear why the police are justified. Walter Wallace Jr should not have died because he didn’t follow commands. Americans aren’t authoritarians. The police need to do a better job. I’ve seen countless encounters like the one with Walter Wallace Jr. where the cops do nothing to deescalate the situation and instead within seconds shoot.

It’s the weekend of the election. There’s four days left before America chooses its next president.
Lil Wayne and Brett Favre are the latest celebrities, athletes, rappers to endorse Trump.

Happy Halloween!
Doesn't even feel like the spirit is in the air.
I seen one kid walk into a deli store in a Deadpool costume trick or treating with his little brother and mother.
Most people are saying stores aren’t giving out candy this year.
I feel bad for all the kids who are disappointed that this is their first Halloween and there’s no candy.
Not doing much today myself.

One day until election day in the United States.
It’s cold outside.
I walked to the corner deli to get some snacks and ginger ale to drink and my eyes and nose started running. The wind was strong, so strong I had to turn my back. It felt good to be outside.

Tonight, I seen the full moon make a rainbow.

Joe Biden is the new president elect. The final numbers are counted. Biden seems to be clear winner. He is the 46th president of the United States of America.
Kamala Harris is the first woman and person of color to ever become vice president.
On twitter, Joe Biden wrote, “America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country. The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.”
Trump needs to go away and let this country move forward and heal by taking his loss.

since Friday there has been 126 000 new cases.

After four days the results came in and Joe Biden is the new 46th president.
He is already going to work starting a news coronavirus task force.

Two weeks from today is thanksgiving day.
Covid-19 numbers are still rising in the US.
Total covid-19 related deaths in the country — 243 000.
Globally there has been 1 million deaths due to covid-19 related illness.

More republicans are showing support and letting it be known Joe Biden is the president elect. Governor in Ohio, a state trump won, said, Joe Biden is the clear winner. He won the popular vote by 5 million. Trump is challenging vote counts with lawsuits in several states including Michigan.
He is lying about the vote count.
Trump thinks he won the election even though Joe Biden got more votes.
His actions are a direct threat to American democracy.

Woke up early.
Took a shower, drank coffee, ate oatmeal.
Mayor De Blasio said today parents should be prepared for school closing.
Governor Cuomo ordered bars , gyms, restaurants to close at 10pm as the covid-19 numbers spike in the city.
New York City residents can qualify to self-isolate in a hotel for free, up to 14 days, if they do not have a safe place to self-isolate.

Trump is still refusing to concede the election. He tweeted, “I won this election”.

Trump says government will not send vaccine to NYC because Gov Cuomo “doesn’t trust where the vaccine is coming from”

Today the governor announced the closing of schools in NYC.
No more in class learning.

The South Dakota Governor has ignored all mask mandates.

In only one state cases are low and that’s in Hawaii.
In New York, cases are riding at levels seen in April.
In California, the governor implemented a nighttime curfew.
The same anti body Covid-19 treatment Trump received has been authorized for use by the FDA.

After the results in Michigan with Biden as clear winner , Trump and team have reached out and formally will begin a transition of power process.

Happy Thanksgiving.
The sun came out. Last night it rained. Early this morning it rained.
There are people going to work today.
Huge numbers of African American, Native Americans, Hispanic people are affected by covid-19 and there is no clear explanation why. One doctor says it could be because they don’t take ubers but the subway and buses. It’s socioeconomic status.

A vaccine will be ready in December but people, especially African Americans distrust the government. A study released today shows more than half of Black Americans say they won’t take the vaccine.There’s a history behind the distrust. Some scientists chalk it up to misinformation. The United States and its foul mistreatment of certain people have built up this skepticism in society. Black bodies were literally used for experimentation and research. Some will tell you straight up, this is another Tuskegee experiment.

Inside my room, on the table there are empty bottles of water. Lately, I’ve been waking up thirsty in the middle of the night. I’ve decided to drink water immediately after waking up. Also on my table is a copy of Haruki Murakami’s 1Q84, which i told myself i should start reading. Rereading William Wells Brown, Speeches and public letters.
