Unarmed black man was shot seven times in the back in Kenosha, WI.

His name is #Jacobblake

Saturday night.
Man in my neighborhood was assaulted with milk crate. When I walked by, blood was coming out of his bald head. The story is he took 700$ from someone after falsely advertising an open room for rent.

Woke up early.
Listening to the ringleaders-baby, what has happened to our love

Gov Cuomo predicts COVID 19 infections in k-12 if schools reopen.

SUNY Oneonta closed one week into the semester after 100 students tested positive for COVID-19.

Woke up early. “Coronavirus is real”, I said to myself before grabbing a mask and walking out the door. I see less and less masks worn in public. Some people believe the pandemic is over. Not me.

Coronavirus cases in the United States hits 6 million.

I’ve been trying to write new poems but no words come out.

NYC adds four more states to quarantine list: Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, West Virginia.

There are now 35 ‘high risk’ states on the list.

Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands have been taken off the list.

Gov Cuomo said, “Infections from out of state visitors are a cause for concern.”

New Yorkers who traveled to high risk states must quarantine for 14 days.

Summer is officially over. It’s nippy outside this afternoon.
Smoked. Bought a turkey bacon, egg white sandwich on a roll for lunch.
Espresso coffee with milk for breakfast.
At home listening to Carmen McRae.
Since the start of the pandemic in the United States 27 million lost health insurance, 22 million lost jobs, 100, 000 small business closed indefinitely.
